A fan had to be rushed out of Oasis' opening reunion gig in Cardiff on a stretcher after falling ill. During tonight's reunion gig (July 4), Noel and Liam finally reunited on stage for the first time in 16 years - but the show suddenly fell into chaos when paramedics rushed to one fan who fell ill during the performance.
There was a medical incident in the crown which resulted in one fan being taken out of Cardiff's Principality Stadium on a stretcher. An onlooker revealed that one gig goes was seen being carried off by the medical crew, with people waving to the crowd to move out of the way. It is understood that the woman who needed medical assistance was being guided across the front of the stafe in the pit area close to the barrier.
The incident occured as the band performed their hit song D'You Know What I Mean which they followed up with Stand By Me. This is the band's first performance in several years after brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher famously falling out back in 2009.
The band are now back together and appear to be bigger and better than ever as they prepare for a huge world tour, with fans still shocked to see the pair back on stage together once more.
It is understood hundreds of Oasis superfans have been camping outside the Welsh venue for 24 hours ahead of the gig to make sure they get a front row seat to the historic performance.
When quizzed by a fan on how much influence he'd have over the setlist, the musician hinted that the majority of the tunes for the Cardiff gig were picked by Noel.
The question posed to him was: "Liam who will decide on the final word of the set list? You or Noel? There's a lot of songs to decide on." He simply replied: "Noel's the boss, I'll do what I'm told as I'm a good boy."
The group will perform two nights in the Welsh capital before heading to Heaton Park in their hometown of Manchester where they will perform five gigs on July 11, 12, 16, 19, and 20.
The brothers will then head on to the rest of the UK leg of their reunion tour, which includes performances at London's Wembley Stadium, Edinburgh, and Dublin. Many fans may have wondered why Oasis have chosen the city of Cardiff to kick off their 41-date Live 25 reunion tour.
When asked on social media about the decision to pick the Welsh capital, Liam Gallagher responded by saying: "Because Cardiff is the b*****".
