Princess Kate recently stepped out in the capital for an official visit to the Natural History Museum and it looked like the royal's hair has been transformed.
Her hair colour has shifted from chestnut brown to a honey blonde hue, and it was styled in long glossy waves. I've talked to Jason Collier, founder of Studio23 and Key Opinion Leader at Jerome Russell Bblonde, to learn how we can create the look for less than £20.
Jason said: "The beauty is with a honey bronde colour like Kate's, it blends the brightness of blonde with warmer, golden undertones, which makes it flattering against autumn's softer light. It still has the richness and warmth of more traditional autumnal hair shades, but with an updated luminosity."
It might look difficult to create that light shade without getting brass tones on the looks but the celebrity stylist said it's "very achievable at home". To create the Princess of Wales' new look, Jason recommends using the Jerome Russell Bblonde Maximum Blonding Kit, priced between £4 and £9.90 on Amazon, to achieve the clean blonde base.
Then to follow up with the Jerome Russell Bblonde Caramel Maximum Colour Toner, which is reduced to £4.50 on Amazon.
Jason explained: "The toner is to neutralise any unwanted brassiness and achieve Kate's new colour. The key is working in sections and taking your time. You can definitely recreate a salon-worthy blonde at home with these products."

Elsewhere, there's Schwarzkopf LIVE Powder Bleach Bold Blonde Permanent Hair Colour, which offers up to nine levels of lift and bold blonde result, and it's available at Boots for £6.99.
Those who have blonde based locks can tryOlaplex Nº.4P Blonde Enhancer Toning Shampoo. Available at LookFantastic for £28, the purple shampoo helps to neutralise brassy tones while intensely moisturising and brightening the appearance of hair in just one use.
When it comes to blonde hair, maintenance is everything. Going to the salon every few months can be costly, but Jason said there are products shoppers can use to delay their appointments.
He said: "To keep the colour fresh, I'd recommend incorporating a root smudge as it softens regrowth and creates a seamless blend. The Jerome Russell Bblonde SMUDGE Root Blending Kit in Subtle Warm, £8.99, is ideal for this, as it makes regrowth look natural in between full colour sessions. For adding tone and shine back into your blonde, the Jerome Russell Color Bomb Blondes in Warm Blonde, £13.18, is another brilliant option, it refreshes colour while giving hair a boost of vibrancy and gloss."
ITV presenter Nadine Baggott previously raved about the Color Bomb hair mask and called it "the greatest tonal conditioning mask ever used". It revived her hair within the time she spent on her shaving routine. It saved her from taking trips to the salon every month and kept her hair in a cool shade in silvery blonde.
Schwarzkopf Hair Gloss Shine Treatment Beige Blonde is also another quick hair treatment to bring lacklustre blondes back to life. It is stocked at Boots for £8.
