First Lady Melania Trump and the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, enjoyed a leisurely stroll through Frogmore Gardens, situated adjacent to Windsor Castle, on Thursday. With no other senior royals present, the duo had the opportunity to discuss a subject dear to both - education.

During their garden visit, they met Chief Scout Dwayne Fields and members of the Scouts' Squirrels programme, who were engrossed in learning about nature to earn their "Go Wild" badge.

The First Lady and the Duchess also spent time with a group of children aged between 4 and 6, who were busy creating art. They joined the youngsters at their table as they imprinted ink-covered leaves onto paper. The news emerges as Princess Kate shows 'true colours' with telltale sign during Trump state banquet.

"It gives me great comfort knowing all of these children are encapsulated in the educational spaces," Kate was seen saying, according to lip reader Nicola Hickling. "It can become quite overbearing, so that you can tend to the individual rather than 'I need to do this or that.'"

"The work they do is incredible," she told Mirror US, reports the Mirror US.

The Duchess then subtly turned away from the cameras before Melania shared her thoughts on the American education system.

"I know. It's the same in America, we can't let it get too big, we owe this to our children," Melania responded.

Their brief conversation highlighted their shared commitment and focus on education.

Since marrying Prince William in 2011, Kate has made early childhood development a central pillar of her Royal work.

Last June, the Princess of Wales' foundation announced plans to provide mental health support across a deprived London community through an initiative called "Happy Little Minds."

In a similar vein, Kate's Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood launched seven animated videos in August designed to promote healthy emotional and social development in children.

When announcing the series, the princess proclaimed that the first five years of a person's life "offers a sacred opportunity to transform our societies for the better" by equipping those youngsters to "face the future."

Meanwhile, the American first lady has championed artificial intelligence in education, leading the White House Task Force on Artificial Intelligence Education.

This month, she launched a new Presidential AI Challenge, urging pupils to address community problems using innovative technology with support from teachers and mentors.

The programme is part of the Trump administration's wider push to embed AI throughout K-12 education.

"We are living in a moment of wonder, and it is our responsibility to prepare children in America," declared first lady Melania Trump in Sept. 4 meeting of the White House task force on AI education.

"We must ensure America's talent- our workforce- is prepared to sustain AI's progress, and the Presidential AI Challenge is our first major step to galvanize America's parents, educators, and students with this mission."

The Princess of Wales and Melania Trump encountered one another during the Trumps' momentous second state visit to Britain, where they received lavish welcomes featuring opulent banquets and magnificent military displays.

Earlier on Thursday, Queen Camilla conducted the first lady on a guided tour of Queen Mary's Dolls' House, a miniature Royal residence presented in 1924 to Queen Mary, consort of King George V, alongside the Royal Library.
