
Prince Harry and Meghan have been accused of being "bad for the Royal Family" after the Duke of Sussex's fleeting visit to the UK. After weeks of speculation, King Charles met Harry at Clarence House in London. However, he notably did not meet his brother, Prince William, and sister-in-law Princess Kate, whom he has been accused of wanting to "compete" with. Richard Eden, the Daily Mail Diary Editor, said: "I can obviously understand the father wanting to meet the son, who wouldn't? The problem is, he's not just a father, he's our head of state. I think Harry and Meghan are bad for the Royal Family."
Appearing on the programme, he added: "I think Harry and Meghan are bad news. We've seen time and time again that they can't be trusted, they exploit their royal connections, and I don't think it's being paranoid to say that they want to be the alternative Royal Family." Last week, after visiting his father, the Duke travelled to Kyiv as part of his work for his celebrated organisation, the Invictus Games. While in the UK, Prince Harry also attended a few high-profile events, including the WellChild Awards, which he has been championed over the years. "This week was full of engagements for William and Catherine and Harry has been competing with that," Mr Eden went on to claim.
