Russia should "burn down" the "satanic island" of Britain, Russian propagandist and mouthpiece Vladimir Solovyov has said. The appalling threat emerged during the Russian state TV show "Sunday Evening With Vladimir Solovyov," featuring host Vladimir Solovyov and military expert Evgeny Buzhinsky.
The hosts downplayed Russia's recent incursions into EU members' airspace, claiming that the real provocation comes from the West in the form of Tomahawk missiles. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has asked the US to sell Tomahawks to European nations that would then send them to Ukraine. Tomahawk missiles have a range of 2,500km (1,550 miles). Asked by reporters on Monday whether he had decided about supplying Ukraine with Tomahawks, Trump did not rule it out.

Trump said he had "sort of made a decision", The Guardian has reported. "I think I want to find out what they're doing with them. I would ask some questions. I'm not looking to escalate that war."
In the TV show, Buzhinsky claimed that Ukrainians have no problem with carrying out strikes with Tomahawk missiles, which can reach deep inside the Russian territory.
Reacting to that statement, Soloyov said: "To Europe, it seems like everything is permitted. Europe understands that America won't defend them, that's why need to strike Europe, especially since now we have an excellent reason to burn down Britain. The King is their head, but formally, the highest position within their church, is now occupied by a woman, for the first time ever. Down with the Satanic island."
Soloyov referred to Friday's appointment of Sarah Mullally by the Church of England as the next Archbishop of Canterbury. She became the first woman to serve as ceremonial head of Anglican Christianity worldwide.
Buzhinsky replied: "Yes, I also think so, for some reason everyone is fixated on Estonia as the next target of attack of a treacherous and aggressive President Putin, or Latvia, or Lithuania. For what? Who needs these dwarves? What's there to attack?"
"You can take a swing at them and that's it," Soloyov responded.
Buzhinsky continued: "If we're going to strike, we should strike the countries that play a significant part in the confrontation with Russia. I'm talking about Europeans."
