UK population hits 69.3million - it's the death knell of Blairite immigration policy

Just what do the centrist dad drones that have driven this country into the ground expect will happen to them if they keep doing the precise opposite of what the majority of Brits want? Have they seriously not got the message that we will not put up with the continuation of this Blairite mass-migration madness? Apparently not, as today brings the news that immigration to the UK has pushed its population up to 69.3million. A rise of 755,300 between mid-2023 and mid-2024 is the second-biggest increase since 1950.

So smashed to pieces forever is the notion that any opposition to any type of migration is grounded in racial prejudice. No sane person who wants to maintain our welfare state, NHS and sense of place should be comfortable with these numbers. Then there's the utter cheek of our politicians failing to deliver the wishes of the British people, who time and again have voted for lower migration.

It's as though they didn't hear the mightiest democratic cry in the history of universal suffrage - that we must leave the EU for reasons of sovereignty and to have lower immigration.

It's as though they think that they can simply slog on with unpopular policy with zero conseqeunces. In a way, you can see why Sir Keir Starmer might think this: he's been handed a majority from one of the smallest voter turnouts we've ever seen.

Despite being embarrassingly unpopular, he carries on. But in doing so, he fails to acknowledge the reality that his time will come. Even if Drear Starmer hangs onto power for a full term, there's no way back into office for Labour any time soon.

The Tories' credibility on migration is non-existent. From David Camerons failure to reduce migration to the tens of thousands, to their division over Brexit, to a record 906,000 new arrivals in 2023, they have shown themselves unwilling or unable to solve the long-standing biggest issue in British politics.

The only hope for sensible Brits is that their compatriots do away with these failed outfits by voting in Reform UK. If all that achieves is to send a message to Labour and the Tories that they can no longer ignore the will of the people they're supposed to serve, then it'll be worth it.
