Wetherspoon to open three new pubs next week with others 'in weeks' - full list

New Wetherspoon pubs are set to open in days, with more to come later this year. Three sites are opening next week, two of which are in London, according to the chain's website.

The new boozers hitting the capital include The Sun Wharf in Tooley Street, London Bridge, and The Sir Alexander Fleming in Paddington. Both will open doors for the first time as Wetherspoon pubs on Tuesday, September 30.

It comes after Wetherspoons entered a new franchise agreement with The Papas Group, which will manage 15 new watering holes in the UK featuring the pub chain's brand and products.

Among them is The Hykeham Manor pub in Lincoln, which will open its doors on Wednesday.

Three other news pubs have been confirmed for October and November as part of the deal, the newspaper reports.

These are reportedly set to be located in:

• Annitsford, Northumberland
• Stockton-on-Tees, Co Durham
• Emersons Green, Bristol

However, information about their exact location and their names, as well as other new branches, doesn't appear to have been announced yet.

Separately, Wetherspoons has also confirmed it's opening two new pubs, The King of Essex in Basildon (October 14), and The Chiltern, Beaconsfield (December 2), according to their website.
