Water drops on your windows might not seem like a issue, but if left alone this condensation can quickly turn into costly damage for your home. As the weather gets colder, many of us will keep our windows closed and dry laundry indoors, which can cause moisture to build up indoors.
When this moisture touches the cold surface of window glass, it will create condensation, which can lead to both damp and mould forming and spreading into the home. Any dampness on a window frame will cause it to rot, but any damp stains on a wall will cause mould spores to begin growing inside the wallpaper or plaster.
Mould can damage your health and is also quite difficult to remove once it becomes an infestation, so it is better to prevent any damage by removing condensation now.
However, you do not have to clean your windows every morning - as experts from Cardiff Window Cleaner LTD shared a simple way to keep condensation away.
They said: "If you wake up and find condensation on your bedroom windows, a great way to clear away the condensation and prevent it from coming back is by mixing a homemade solution. Simply mix two cups of water and two cups of white vinegar, then add a couple of drops of dishwashing soap."
Washing up liquid is one of the best natural ways to prevent condensation, as it creates a thin coating over the window glass.

It will cause the water from condensation to spread out rather than turn into droplets so it will evaporate quickly instead of clinging to a window.
Vinegar is naturally antibacterial so will clean glass but also helps make it much harder for mould to form on a window so it will not be able to spread.
How to make a homemade solution to keep condensation awayAll you need to do is mix one part water and one part white vinegar together, then place it is a empty spray bottle.
Add a few drops of washing up liquid, spray on your window, and it should keep your windows free of any condensation for at least a week.
However, it should be noted that this natural condensation cleanser is a cheap temporary solution. Condensation will keep forming if there is moisture in your home, so for a long-term fix consider buying a dehumidifier.
