Yorkshire helicopter crash LIVE: Huge emergency response as traffic diverted

A helicopter has crashed in a field in South Yorkshire. Vehicles from South Yorkshire Police, South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue, and Yorkshire Ambulance Service were seen racing through the streets of Doncaster towards the crash site on Ings Lane in Bentley.

The aircraft came down just minutes after leaving Gamston Airport near Retford. The condition of the pilot, or whether there were any passengers on board, is not yet known.
