There's nothing more annoying than slow and unreliable internet, so finding the right broadband provider is often essential. However, shoppers stuck in a contract with a provider that gives them a sub-par service might face hefty cancellation fees if they choose to switch.
Now, however, EE are offering home owners and renters up to £300 to cover leaving fees if they decide to switch to their service. Along with this, a number of deals are currently on offer with EE: 74Mbps full fibre, which is said to be the fastest and most reliable broadband, costs £26.99 per month, 150Mbps id £28.99, 500Mbps is £32.99, and 900Mbps is £37.99.
Powered by BT, the broadband is said to give customers seamless network around the home, meaning they'll have reliable WiFi signal no matter where they are. The 74Mbps service in particular is said to be great for streaming, browsing and using social media, at a price that won't break the bank. Plus, all plans come with a smart hub and a router.
Whether it's a contract for students or for a family, there are options for everyone. Shoppers can choose from either 12 or 24 month plans, and they're easy to set up.
Customers simply need to pick a plan that suits them, let EE know if they are switching, so the company can give them money to cover leaving charges, and lastly choose an installation date to get up and running.
Other broadbands to choose from include Virgin Media, with its M125 Fibre Broadband for £22.99 a month which offers 132Mbps and is said to be ideal for households with two people and five to nine devices. Another is TalkTalk with its Full Fibre 150, which starts at £25. This option is said to be great for working from home, can connect up to 128 devices and has built in online security.
Shoppers have taken to Trustpilot to share their experiences with EE. One person said: "Compared to Vodafone pro service, EE pro plus was a dream. Just plugged in and changed SSID and password to same as prior. Everything connected speed is as I paid for and it was easy."
Another said: "EE are actually one of the best phone / broadband company I have been with ahead of O2. They are very flexible with people on benefits, and most of all with people with financial issues."
A third happy customer said: "Had EE WiFi 7 for 2 months now. What a difference superfast speeds and sooo much better than Sky. Overall very happy."
Some others shared slight concerns, however, with one saying: "EE broadband service is really good, never had a single day of downtime since 2020 on a 73Mbps connection! However, price isn't competitive, so one less star." Another said: "Have been an EE customer for years now, with both mobile phone and broadband contracts. A few issues along the way, but each was sorted efficiently and I've always been offered a good price for services."
