US President Donald Trump on Sunday confirmed that Washington is prepared to implement a second phase of sanctions on Russia.

“Yeah, I am,” he told reporters outside the White House, hours after Russia launched its largest aerial barrage on Ukraine since the war began. The attacks killed at least four people and set government offices in Kyiv ablaze, with flames engulfing the cabinet building and drone strikes damaging nearby high-rises.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy condemned the strikes as a “deliberate crime and a prolongation of the war,” while European leaders, including Emmanuel Macron and Keir Starmer, denounced the attacks.
