Twitch streamer Matthew “Mizkif” Rinaudo has filed a lawsuit against fellow streamer and ex-girlfriend Emily “Emiru” Schunk. The case was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas in early November 2025. This comes after Emiru’s October 2025 livestream, where she accused Mizkif of sexual assault, abuse, and harassment. In his lawsuit, Mizkif denies all her claims and shares details about their past relationship.
The 12-page document, which became public online, shows Mizkif speaking about his time dating Emiru. He writes that they started dating in 2022 and faced constant online hate. He says Emiru’s followers “routinely” harassed them, and some even stalked her. He also claims they had many fights and that Emiru “threatened to kill herself” during several of them.
Mizkif adds that near the end of their relationship, Emiru wanted to marry him and have children within the next five years. But he says he did not agree because things between them were unstable. So he ended the relationship and moved from Austin to Los Angeles in January 2025.
What Matthew Rinaudo wrote about Emily Schunk in the lawsuit
In the lawsuit, Mizkif describes how his relationship with Emiru affected him and his career. He says their arguments were “emotionally draining” and that the hate from Emiru’s fans hurt his public image. He also writes that Emiru’s later stream falsely accused him of “psychological and domestic abuse, stalking, harassment, sexual assault, and threats of blackmail.”
The filing lists three main claims.
First, Mizkif accuses OTK Media and King Gaming Labs of breach of contract. He says they tried to take away over a million shares of stock he owned.
Second, he accuses Emiru and streamer Zack “Asmongold” Hoyt of defamation. He says their public comments caused “severe emotional distress” and “mental anguish.”
Finally, he requests a declaratory judgment about ownership and company rights involving OTK, Mythic Talent Management Inc., and King Gaming Labs.

After the lawsuit became public, Asmongold reacted during a stream. He said Mizkif could “end up in jail” and called him “spiraling.” That clip quickly spread on X and Reddit.
As of now, none of the parties, Mizkif, Emiru, or OTK, have posted any official responses to the filing. The court has not ruled on any of the claims yet.
