'Your countries are going to hell': Trump blasts Europe's migration at UNGA; accuses London mayor of 'seeking Sharia law'

United States President Donald Trump called out Sharia law being adopted in Europe and slammed the mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, at the United Nations.

Addressing the United Nations General Assembly's 80th session, Trump accused Sadiq Khan of seeking to impose Sharia law in the city.

“I look at London, where you have a terrible mayor, terrible terrible mayor, and it’s been so changed, so changed. Now they want to go to Sharia law, but you’re in a different country,” Trump claimed, pushing a familiar unsubstantiated allegation trumpeted by his allies.

He further said, “Both their immigration and suicidal energy ideas will be the death of western Europe if something is not done immediately. This cannot be sustained.”

The comments came after Trump criticised Europe’s overall rate of immigration, characterising it as part of the "globalist migration agenda". He urged allies to learn from his work in America: “We’ve taken bold action to swiftly shut down uncontrolled migration. Once we started detaining and deporting everyone who crossed the border and removing illegal aliens from the United States. They simply stopped coming.”

He issued a stern and stunning warning to the countries he sees as overrun by immigrants. “It’s time to end the failed experiment of open borders. You have to end it now,” he said. “Your countries are going to hell.”

“You’re destroying your countries. They’re being destroyed. Europe is in serious trouble,” he said and added, “They’ve been invaded by a force of illegal aliens like nobody’s ever seen before, illegal aliens are pouring into Europe.”
