Namibia's bowlers chipped in with wickets as Ruben Trumpelmann took 3 wickets, Max Heingo took 2 wickets, and Gerhard Erasmus, Ben Shikongo, and JJ Smit took one wicket each. For South Africa, Jason Smith and Bjorn Fortuin showed some resistance with 31 and 19, respectively. Lhuan-dre Pretorius and Rubin Hermann got starts but failed to make them count big.

The bowlers gave it their all despite having a tough total to defend. The injury to Gerald Coetzee didn't help the Proteas either as he could only bowl 9 legal deliveries.
